Avoiding scams

Let's be careful out there! Never give any personal information to someone who has contacted you. If you may be interested, take their number or contact info. This is so you can check them out. You can always look up the companies on the stock market and investigate them to see if they are viable.

Usually if you remember what your grandmother advised you, such as "If it sounds too good to be true, It probably is." or "Haste makes waste" as in wasting your money if you don't check things out. Be suspicious. People who contact you are business people at the least. They need money to stay in business, where will they get it? From you? Suspect everyone. It will be to your benefit if you do.
